August.....Finished Already!

Thank you very much to everyone who picked us for their diving Grand Cayman adventure this August. We easily put 100 hours on the boat engine this month by making stops at Babylon, Andy's wall and several trips from north to west to dive the Kittiwake. We go where the best diving is, no matter where it is! Grand Cayman diving will take a short break (like the next 3-4 days) so we can give Wall-Nut a little cosmetic attention. We plan on putting on a new bottom job, waxing the hull (so she can go even faster!) and painting the interior. Hopefully mother nature will cooperate!
We have some availability in Sept and Oct so come dive Grand Cayman with us and enjoy the late summer specials on airfare and hotels while they still last.

We're midway through August and the Grand Cayman diving has been amazing. Last weekend we ran into 34 Spotted Eagle rays on Leslie's Curl...not joking....a school of 15 swimming in formation followed by a school of 19! The got close enough so we could see them smiling. Another close encounter that day was with a 7-8' Reef shark. It was patrolling the top edge of the wall on Princess Penny's. Again, close enough to see it was a SHE and that she had a hook and leader stuck in her lip...Diving Grand Cayman this time of year is so exciting!...Still great airfare and hotel prices all summer long so don't waste any more time....come dive Grand Cayman....soon the sharks will go hide for the winter!

With another summer month come and gone, we continue to have some spectacular Grand Cayman diving! Just last week we not only encountered about 4 more hammerhead sharks but we keep running into massive schools of spotted eagle rays. Numbers range from 5-18 in a single school! After speaking to a couple of guys from the Department of Environment, they confirmed that the frequent shark sightings are most likely from the rays spawning in the area. Moving into August, we expect the diving Grand Cayman will impress even the most critical of fish finders. We have a couple of tropical depressions looming but that makes for cheap airfare and hotels people! Don't think about it...book it....and dive Grand Cayman with a couple of turtle heads!
