May Update
First couple of weeks in May have been action packed! We have snorkel Sting Ray City Sandbar and dive Sting Ray City just about once each day of the month! Stuey has done his best to give the rays and eels a workout. He still assures us that his favorite all-time dive is Sting Ray City. We have been diving Grand Cayman north wall in search of this summer's first hammerhead with no luck yet. A few days ago however, we were 4 for 4 with nurse sharks on every dive of the day! Biggest one was about 10' and let me pull him by his tail from his hiding place! Amazing! This week our Grand Cayman diving is taking us back west for a few days and see how things are progressing on the Kittiwake. Amazing to think she's only been down since 5 Jan 2011 and so many critters have made this most impressive wreck home.

Diving Grand Cayman
Very special thanks to Jim, Ken, Dean and Brad for coming down and taking full advantage of their Grand Cayman diving experience. 4 action packed mornings of north wall, west wall, Kittiwake and Sting Ray City dives produced tons of fish, turtles and eagle rays. I took a sting from a lion fish on my funny bone....OUCH! No swelling and a little discolored. Felt like someone hit me on the elbow with a hammer. The May weather has started a bit windy but the forecast is expected to have us diving Grand Cayman north wall again by Friday! Kelly even says a Sunday morning Grand Cayman dive is in her future. YIPPEE!

Late Spring Update
Most of our Grand Cayman diving has been done north side the last couple of weeks. Stuey has been the "Eagle Ray Whisperer", coming across schools of 14, 13 and 9! The new DOE lion fish spears are much better than the 1st generation making the hunting that much more exciting. We finished up a couple of dive certifications and referrals last week for Norah Gourlay and Anh Huynh. Congratulations ladies! You did a fantastic job and we hope that your travels bring you back to dive Grand Cayman with us again in the near future.
Still no sharks. Call it superstition, but we blame this on all of those that keep using the shark and hammerhead words on the boat before dives. You know who you are!
