Jan 2012

So far in 2012 Grand Cayman diving has been living up to its already impressive reputation. There has been north wall diving and would you believe.....a hammerhead sighting!! That morning was a dive Grand Cayman at Main Street which had some of the best vis we've seen since July. This morning's dive, we had very close encounters with 4 different green moray eels. Pretty sure they were after the lion fish we were spearing. While the weather seems to be wacky all over the USA, we are still getting our usual strong NNE winds. The Stingray City Sandbar and deep Stingray City were closed due to horrible conditions for most of December. High seas and strong winds created rip currents and poor visibility making things quite unsafe. Thanks to all the new divers and old friends that have braved the "cold" this winter. Turtle Head -- Out...
